Well this is alittle off topic but I figured I might as well show my freshwater tank also. Its a 55Gal aquarium mainly stocked with tetras and other peachful fish. There are some live plants in there and hopefully soon it will all be live plants. The tank is light by Hagen Powerglo 18000K T8's.
For stocking wise, I currently have:
-5 Neon Tetras
-5 Glowlight Tetras
-5 Zebra Danios
-2 Fire and Ice Tetras
-2 Scissortails
-4 Giant Danios
-2 Simese Algea Eaters
-1 Bicolor Algea Eater

Thats about all for now.

Anyways, decided to take a couple of pictures of the tank with the light fixture on the top and the powerheads installed. For lighting there will be 98Watts total of T5 lighting. The first fixture is a Hagen T5 Glo with 24Watt Actinic and 24 Watt 18000K Power Glo lights. The second is a Current USA 24" T5 Fixture with a 24Watt 10000K and a 460nm Actinic. For moonlights I'm going to be running strip LED which on plan on purchasing from Ebay. The powerheads currently installed are a Aquaclear 20 and an Aquaclear 30, producing about 310GPH. I'll also be adding an Aqua C Remora Nano skimmer which is powered by a MaxiJet 900. Thats all for now. Thanks for browsing.

The rest of the eqiupment I need, I plan on getting in the near future. I'm going to be getting an Aqua C Remora Nano Hang on Tank Skimmer, a 24" Nova Extreme Fixture with 2x24W T5's for a second fixture. Then I just need a stand, and some test kits and its time to start pouring in the water.
Well I decided to start a blog to show my building of a 20Gal Reef tank and there were too many sites for me to show my build on so I decided to go this way. I currently own a 55Gal Freshwater tank and have had that for approximately 14 months. During this, we've decided to go ahead and try saltwater. Lots of research has been done and equipment is starting to be bought. So far I've purchased a 20Gal H Tank, an Aquaclear 20 Powerhead, an Aquaclear 30 Powerhead, a Hagen T5 Glo Double Fixture(2x24W T5). I've also purchased Red Sea Salt, 15LBs of CaribSea Special Grade Reef Sand, and a Instant Ocean hydrometer. I painted that back of the 20Gal using Krylon Fusion spray paint. Some pictures are below, more to follow.
